This comparison did not need making five years ago. It does now, because a class of prescribed medication has changed what is possible and reset what a supplement should be judged against.
Trial effects differ by an order of magnitude. So do the risks, the cost and the supervision.
What the medications demonstrated
GLP-1 receptor agonists act on the same appetite-signalling system that fibre influences indirectly, but far more powerfully — slowing gastric emptying and acting directly on appetite centres in the brain.
Randomised trials in people with obesity have reported average weight reductions in the double-digit percentage range over roughly a year, with cardiovascular outcome data now accumulating. Those are effects of a completely different magnitude from anything in the supplement literature.
They are also prescription medicines with real side effects, real contraindications, real cost and mandatory medical supervision. That is not a caveat; it is part of the comparison.
What supplements demonstrated
Green tea catechin trials at 250–500 mg report average differences of roughly a kilogram or two over months, frequently not sustained. Fibre trials at gram-scale amounts report modest satiety and weight effects. Apple cider vinegar trials are small and report modest differences.
Those are real findings. They are also, collectively, a fraction of a single medication effect — and they were produced at doses this product does not publish and, for the fibre ingredients, cannot deliver.

What this means practically
They are not alternatives to each other. Anyone whose weight is affecting their health enough to consider medication should have that conversation with a doctor, and a supplement is not a substitute for it.
For most people, neither is the first step. Dietary change, protein and fibre at meals, resistance training, sleep and behavioural support come first, cost nothing and have decades of evidence.
Do not buy compounded or unlicensed versions of prescription medication online. This has become a genuine safety problem, with dosing errors and contamination reported. If a GLP-1 is appropriate for you, it comes through a clinician.
The honest position on VapoCept in this context: it is a small-effect product at unknown doses in a market that now includes large-effect options. That comparison is unflattering, and pretending otherwise would not help anyone.
What the seller does well
It would be dishonest to review this product on criticism alone, so here is what holds up.
The ingredients are real and sensibly chosen. Green tea extract, chicory inulin, resistant starch and apple cider vinegar all have genuine research behind them. Chicory inulin in particular has regulatory recognition in Europe for bowel function, which is more than most supplement ingredients achieve.
One page states the capsules are vegetarian and lactose-free. That is useful, specific information a great many sellers never provide.
The refrigeration instruction is honest. Telling buyers to refrigerate after opening for probiotic viability is a real handling detail that costs the seller convenience and gains them nothing commercially.
Each page’s pricing arithmetic multiplies correctly, and both carry the FDA disclaimer and exclude pregnancy and nursing explicitly.

What we would do
Read the ingredient list and the guarantee text on the exact page taking your money, and screenshot both with the date visible — the official pages describe different products on different terms. Take the smallest package. Photograph the Supplement Facts panel when it arrives and compare it against what you were sold. Weigh at the same time each morning and compare weekly averages rather than individual days. And diarise day 50, assuming the shorter version of the guarantee applies.

Not at a researched amount. Chicory inulin is studied at 5–15 grams daily and resistant starch at 15–30 grams. A large capsule holds under one gram in total.
No, and no dietary supplement is. There is no pre-market approval for supplements. Facilities are registered and inspected, which is a different thing from being approved.
